There are a few basic things you need to know about your SMARTboard before being able to begin using it.  There are some fantastic places to go for some help getting started, or reminders if you have attended a training session but need some support:

SMART Download Page

You will need Notebook 10 software installed on your computer in order for it to be compatible with the SMARTboard.  Product keys for full software installation can be obtained by filling in some information, including your board's serial number.  This code may be shared with anyone in your school community who wishes to download Notebook software (teachers, support staff, admin, parents, students).  You can enter the info to get your product key on this webpage.

SMART Training Center

This section of the SMART site has 2 minute tutorials and other information to help support your use of the SMARTboard.  For basics such as how to orient your board, how to use the SMARTboard tools, and more, click the small arrow beside the first section that says, "SMART Board Interactive Whiteboard 10".
