Notebook software is an extremely powerful tool for building lessons and unit for use with students. It is a rich, complex program, but very intuitive and easy to learn. A good way to familiarize yourself with Notebook software without taking any training or spending a lot of time acquainting yourself with the software is by looking and and using Notebook files that other people have already created. Why re-invent the wheel? Here are some terrific places to find pre-created Notebook files to use in your classroom.
SMART Exchange - Standards Corrlelated Lesson Activities
SMART has lots of pre-created Notebook files on their website. On the top, right side of the page select Canada as your country. Click on the blue tab at the top that says, "Standards Correlated Lessons". Browse to curriculum standards for British Columbia and see what available lessons are a match to your grade level and subject area.

Google Advanced Search for Notebook Files
This is a great way to find Notebook files that teachers have published on their websites, blogs, wikis, etc. Type your search query into the Google search bar, followed by "filetype:notebook" . "Notebook" is the file extension on SMART Notebook files.
